The Department of General paediatrics is lead by Dr.M.Venkateswararao. It is one of the largest department of the hospital.
Our vision is to thrive to best possible practice which is scientifically based.
The O.P starts at morning 9 am and continue till 9pm.

In addition to this the department of pediatrics also offers:

The neonatal intensive care unit at VenakataPadma hospital is highly specialised to provide newborn care, who are in critical state.
Level-2b NNF accrediated NICU is one of the best equipped and well staffed.
The unit receives referral from within the district and surroundings three districts and upto Orissa.
Extremely Prematurity baby till 28 weeks gestation are saved with minimum morbidity.

The Department is managed by highly qualified and trained neonatologist, Available round the clock, As we have fellowship training programme in neonatology, they add to the improved service provided. The use of latest knowledge, technology helps us for speedy recovery of small premature baby. The unit is staffed with well trained, skilled and experienced nurses.

The Department of Gynecology is lead by Dr.M.Padma Kumari. It is one of the largest department of the hospital.

The department of pediatrics surgery is look after by Dr.Srinivas (pediatric surgeon)

 Dr.Himaja( Peditaric surgeon, Dr.ravi( Pediataric surgeon)

Complex surgeries like CHD, Tsophogeal atresia NES, intentional obstruction, Hirschsprung disease, etc are done and taken care. We have Pediatric surgery OPD on Monday and Friday.

We have 16 bedded PICU with well managed infrastructure with dedicated staff. We have DNB Pediatrics for round the cover of PICU Cases.

The Department of pediatric surgery is highly committed to provide and promote best practice in surgical care.
Number of neonatal/pediatric surgery have been done over the years. It has been 10 years, since its inception and its ever growing.
CDH, TEF, TEA, intestinal obstruction, HD, Hypospadias, etc, are the complicated surgery done in VPH an regular basis. The ourcome of the surgery is morbid free and infection free.
The only hospital to provide pediatric surgery in all nearby three district."
Dr.M.Srinivasa rao, MD Ped surg and Dr.Vijay Ganesh, MD Ped surg wednes day and Friday they will come, post op case in NICU /PICU by Dr Anant sagar. 150 to 200 Surgeries are done per year.
